Lars GrindeManaging Partner
Lars joined Norvestor in 1991 and became Managing Partner in 2010. He has been responsible for a large number of investments during this period. He is currently on the board of PG Marine Group. Previous board positions include Chairman of RenoNorden, ELIXIA, Panorama and Sonans, and board member of Component Software, SCAN Geophysical and Trema. Before joining the Norvestor team, he spent 5 years with Price Waterhouse. Lars holds a M.Sc. in Business from Hochschule St. Gallen in Switzerland and is a State Authorised accountant from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration.
Trond joined Norvestor in 1989 as CFO and since 1991 he has led investments within most of Norvestor’s core industries. He is currently the chairman of Sentech, Marine Aluminium, iSURVEY and Future Production and is on the board of Johnson Metall and Presserv. Previous board positions include Advantec, Wema, SCAN Geophysical, Akva Group, Aalesundfisk, Selmer and PGS. Prior to joining Norvestor, Trond spent two years as a Manager within the finance division of Eksportfinans (Norwegian Export Credit Agency) and two years at Grindlay’s Bank before being appointed as finance manager of Selmer Sande Group, a leading construction company. Trond holds a M.Sc. in Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration.
Henning joined Norvestor in 2001 as an Investment Manager and was promoted to Partner in 2008. He has worked on investments within many of Norvestor’s core industries, notably within the business and consumer services sectors. Henning is currently the chairman of Apsis, Cegal, Crayon, Abax and IT Gården. Previous board positions include ELIXIA, Intelecom, eTRAVELi, Confirmit and Retriever. Prior to joining Norvestor, Henning spent 12 years as an officer in the Norwegian army, five years at Cap Gemini / Gemini Consulting and was the CEO of the internet business incubator Modem Bad. Henning also spent a year working full time as a CFO and CTO in the former portfolio company, X.hlp Technologies. He holds a MBA from the University of Colorado, Boulder and has also graduated as an officer from the Norwegian War Academy.
Fredrik joined Norvestor in 1999 and was promoted to Partner in 2010. He is currently the chairman of Nomor, 4Service and Eneas. Previous board positions include RenoNorden, Sonans, Classware and IT Akademiet. Fredrik worked for two years as CFO of the former portfolio company Sonans. He started his career at Innovation Strategic Consulting. Fredrik holds a M.Sc. in Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration / New York University (Stern) and is a Certified European Financial Analyst (CEFA).
Christian joined Norvestor in early 2010 as an Investment Director and was promoted to Partner in December 2010. He is currently the chairman of Robust and Roadworks and is on the board of Marine Aluminium and Permascand. Christian has worked as a civil engineer in the US and in operational management positions in Norway. Christian was instrumental both strategically and operationally in a successful development of ENEAS, a Norwegian energy related company later sold to an international private equity fund. Christian also spent three years with McKinsey & Company and as vice president of the investment bank Norden Fondsmeglerforretning. He holds a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Purdue University and a MBA from IESE.
Per-Ola joined Norvestor as a Partner in 2014 and has a broad industrial and financial background from senior positions in leading Norwegian companies. He is currently the chairman of Permascand, PG Flow Solutions and HydraWell and is on the board of Cegal and READ. Prior to joining Norvestor, Per-Ola worked as senior vice president – Business Ventures in Aker Solutions, a leading global oil services company. In this role he was responsible for acquiring and developing companies within several of their business segments. Per-Ola has many years of operational experience from his positions as CEO at Aker Oilfield Services and Executive Vice President at Western Bulk. In addition to his broad management experience, Per-Ola has also gained substantial investment and corporate finance experience from several investment companies such as Aker ASA and Kistefos. Per-Ola holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Marine Technology from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne (UK) and a MBA from the Norwegian School of Management (BI).
Tor Erling GunnerødPartner
Tor Erling joined Norvestor in 2016 and is focused on originating and executing oil service investments. Prior experience includes eleven years with MHWirth (former Aker Solutions Drilling Technologies), where he left as Head of Operations of Europe/ME/Caspian/Africa. He also held the position as CFO for Aker Solutions Drilling Technologies for six years and was also a board member at Step Oiltools BV. He is currently the chairman of READ and Presserv. He started his career at the consultancy firm Arkwright and then Bain & Company in Stockholm. Tor Erling holds an MSc in Finance from the BI Norwegian Business School.
Karl joined Norvestor as a Senior Associate in 2008. He was promoted to Investment Manager in 2009, Investment Director in 2014 and Partner in 2016. He is currently the chairman of Nordic Camping and is on the board of 4Service, Phonero, Nomor and Life. Prior to joining Norvestor he spent almost four years as an Associate Director at Evli Bank Corporate Finance (Stockholm) and also half a year as an Analyst at CIBC World Markets in London. During 2001 and 2002 he had internships with the Bank of America in London and Merrill Lynch in Frankfurt. Karl has a BA (hons) in International Business from the European Business School in London and Oestrich-Winkel.
Inge LarsenPartner, Risk Manager & CFO
Inge joined Norvestor in 1997 and was promoted to Investment Manager in 2001, Investment Director / CFO in 2007 and Partner / CFO in 2013. In 2014, Inge took on additional responsibilities as the Firm’s Risk Manager. Between 2002 and 2007 he worked full time as the CFO of the portfolio company Component Software Group with responsibility for budget processes, contract negotiations with vendors and customers, strategy processes, acquisitions and preparation for an Oslo Stock Exchange listing. Inge has worked with most of Norvestor’s core industries. As Risk Manager, he can no longer take on board roles in portfolio companies. Previous positions include board membership of Advantec, Marine Aluminium, Aptilo and Future Production. Inge began his career at the Office of the Auditor General of Norway. He holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration from the Pacific Lutheran University, Tacoma, USA and also holds a MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management. Inge is also a Certified European Financial Analyst (CEFA).
Are StenbergInvestment Director
Are joined Norvestor as a Senior Associate in 2005 and was promoted to Investment Manager in 2009 and Investment Director in 2013. He is currently on the board of Apsis, Abax and iSURVEY and also spent one year as CFO of Wema from 2008 to 2009 where he was also a member of the board during Norvestor’s ownership period. Prior to joining Norvestor he was a management consultant at Accenture where he worked on a variety of projects with a special focus on retail and supply chain management. Are holds a M.Sc in Industrial Economics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. During his studies he spent one year in the Netherlands and one year in Singapore. He also holds a MBA from INSEAD in France, with a special focus on corporate finance.
Alf Thiel MeteliusInvestment Director
Alf joined Norvestor as an Investment Director in January 2017. Prior to joining Norvestor Alf was responsible for Innovation and Business Development at the Telecom Operator Tele2. Alf carries experience as a private investor in various companies within technology and e-commerce where he has been active as an advisor and business developer. He currently holds a seat at the board of Loop54. Prior experience also includes being a management consultant working on a variety of projects with a special focus on business development within Media and Technology. Alf holds a M.Sc. in Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE) and during his studies he spent 6 months at EGADE MBA program at Monterrey Tec in Mexico.
Waseem ShadInvestment Manager
Waseem joined Norvestor as an Associate in 2011. He was promoted to Senior Associate in 2012 and Investment Manager in 2014. Waseem spent 18 months as CFO of Crayon from 2012 to 2013 and is now a board member. He is also on the board of IT Gården. Prior experience includes three years as an Analyst at DNB Bank ASA within International Group Customers and one year as a Principal Executive Officer at Skatteetaten (the Norwegian IRS). Waseem holds a BA in Business and Economics from the Norwegian School of Management and a M.Sc. in International Accounting and Finance from Cass Business School (London City University), London.
Fredrik Gyllenhammar RaaumInvestment Manager
Fredrik joined Norvestor in 2013 as an Associate and was promoted to Senior Associate in 2014 and to Investment Manager in 2015. He is currently on the board of Nordic Camping. Prior experience includes three years as an Associate at Commerzbank's Investment Banking Division in London and one year as an Analyst at ProCorp in Oslo. Fredrik has a Bachelor in Economics and Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Economics and holds a M.Sc. in Finance with Distinction from Cass Business School in London.
Marie Øymyr MoeInvestment Manager
Marie joined Norvestor in 2011 as a Senior Associate and was promoted to Investment Manager in 2016. She is currently on the board of Phonero. Previous experience includes five years as a consultant and project manager in Norway Post’s corporate strategy division and two years as a trainee with Norway Post. Marie holds a M.Sc. in Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration / Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam and is a Certified European Financial Analyst (CEFA).

Henning joined Norvestor as a Senior Associate in August 2015 and was promoted to Investment Manager in 2016. He is currently on the board of HydraWell and READ. Prior experience includes over four years at Pareto Securities AS, working in the Corporate Finance team, covering several industries including the oil services sector. Henning holds a M.Sc. in Finance with Distinction from Cass Business School in London and a Bachelor’s degree from the Business Engineering School La Salle in Spain.

Håvard joined Norvestor as a Senior Associate in 2015. Prior to joining Norvestor, he was an analyst at Danske Bank Corporate Finance for over three years. He holds both a B.Sc. and a M.Sc. in Economics from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH).
Ian PoppelmanSenior Associate
Ian joined Norvestor as a Senior Associate in 2016. Before this he was an Associate at SEB in the Corporate Finance team in Stockholm. His prior experience includes a Corporate Finance position at Erneholm & Hanskel and an Investment Banking position at Credit Suisse over a span of three years. Ian holds a BSc in Business and Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics.
