Through a series of acquisitions and operational improvement initiatives, Norway-based Panorama emerged as a leading Norwegian provider of jewellery and silverware under Norvestor’s ownership. Acquired in 2005, the business held a strong position in an underdeveloped niche of the fragmented Nordic jewellery market. Under Norvestor ownership Panorama increased the total number of stores from 34 to 111. Recognising the value of controlling the wholesale end of the market, Panorama acquired a leading silverware wholesaler. Panorama was sold to a financial buyer in 2014.
